Dr Elizabeth Maxwell
BSc MBBS MRepr FRANZCOG
Elizabeth is an experienced fertility specialist and gynaecologist and the Clinical director of IVF Australia's Wollongong Clinic. She is in the final stages of obtaining her CREI; the highest qualification a fertility specialist can hold in Australia. Elizabeth has worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 2010 but has been focused on fertility since 2015.

With a Masters in Reproductive Medicine from the University of NSW, Elizabeth completed much of her specialty training at the Royal North Shore hospital in Sydney, becoming a fellow of RANZCOG in 2017. Elizabeth has also obtained an additional clinical fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility in Singapore 2015. She manages all aspects of infertility and has an interest in PCOS, fertility preservation, menstrual management, paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, recurrent miscarriage, and reproductive endocrinology.
Known for her thorough, caring, and individualised approach, she is passionate about helping all patients achieve their dream of becoming parents whether they are in a heterosexual or same sex relationship or would like to become a single mother or father by choice.
Outside of work Elizabeth can usually be found at the beach or the local playgrounds with her young children. She is aiming to find the time soon to get back to her former passions of horseriding, bushwalking and reading.
